SolASE Corp, founded in 2006 by four graduates of the University of California at San Diego, is a privately-held company specializing in the technical development of advanced photovoltaic architectures.

Our current mission is to create and commercialize novel photovoltaic technologies, also known as solar cells, that can be applied across all platforms of electronic equipment, from the smallest sensor to the largest commercial generators.

The world's electronics market is experiencing a technological revolution, with the performance and functionality of devices advancing rapidly. As the complexity of all electronic systems, from portable devices to mainframe computers, continues to increase, the power requirements of these units increases as well.

Battery and fuel cell technology, however, has not developed at the same rate. Ultimately, the end user of any of these devices requires the best of both worlds – performance and energy longevity, while encompassing a lower cost. Currently, the market fails to offer a solution to this predicament and the customer is forced to compromise. SolASE aims to make this tradeoff a whim of the past.
